How to Choose Your Perfect Ring

We design men’s rings in four broad types: Signet rings - these generally sit with a flat face and are the most versatile starter piece, Band rings - like the Kusari, Kabuto, Loyalty and Forge, these rings are about texture and wrap-around design, Statement rings like the Skeleton Hands (as seen on F1 driver Lewis Hamilton), Dove and Napoleon Ring can do all the talking on their own; and our Perle rings are meticulously set with hand-picked stones and laser-engraved with a bespoke hallmark. If you’re starting out, a clean signet can be the easiest entry point.

Which Finger & Sizing

There’s no fixed convention for which finger a ring goes on - it’s a personal preference. Index and middle finger rings tend to make more of a statement; pinky rings are a classic choice for signets. Our rings come in UK sizes L, N, P, S, L and W - if you’re unsure, measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, or order our ring sizer. If you’re between sizes, go larger. 925 Sterling Silver, 14ct Gold & Jewellery Care

Every ring starts as 925 sterling silver. Gold options carry 14ct gold plating over the same sterling silver base - same weight and design, different finish - and all pieces are hallmarked at British Assay Offices. Sterling silver can dull over time, so store your ring somewhere dry and give it a wipe with a soft cloth after wear. Full instructions are in our Care Guide.

Men’s Rings FAQs

What’s the difference between signet, band and statement rings?

Signet rings have a flat face - they’re the most versatile and easiest to stack. Band rings wrap all the way around with a simple, smooth design or texture or engraving. Statement rings are larger, sculptural pieces that work best worn alone or stacked for a heavier, impactful look. See our signet rings and band rings if you already know which look you’re going for.

Which finger should I wear a ring on?

There’s no rule - it’s personal. Index and middle finger rings tend to make more of a statement; pinky rings are the traditional choice for signets. Most people choose whichever finger feels right for the weight and width of the piece.

How do I find my ring size?

What’s the difference between your silver and gold rings?

Every ring starts as 925 sterling silver. Gold versions are the same ring with 14ct gold plating over the top - same weight, same design, just a different finish. Both are hallmarked at British Assay Offices.

Does sterling silver tarnish?

Our rings are sterling silver or rhodium-plated to slow tarnishing, but sterling silver can still dull naturally over time. Store yours somewhere dry and wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. Full instructions are in our Care Guide.

Are your rings hallmarked?

Yes. Every piece carries the full UK hallmark - sponsor’s mark, fineness mark, millesimal fineness mark, Assay Office mark and year mark. See our Hallmarking Guide for what each one means.

Can I stack rings?

Yes. Signet and band rings stack best - mix a flat-face signet with a textured band for contrast. Our necklaces layer well with ring stacks too if you’re building out a full matching look.

Can I return a ring if it doesn’t fit?

Yes - rings can be returned within 30 days of receipt if they’re unworn and in their original pouch. View Returns for further information. If you’re buying as a gift and unsure of the size, a Gift Card lets them choose and size for themselves.
