COVID-19
We will be extending our returns policy from 30 days to 60 days in light of COVID-19. This is to ensure that you do not need to go out unnecessarily to return any unwanted orders. We will assess this weekly to see if we need to extend it further.

BUYING

By placing an order with us you acknowledge having read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at info@sergedenimes.com before placing your order.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. All contracts are concluded in English.

Please check your spam mailbox for confirmation emails, sometimes they take the wrong turn and end up in there!

We recommend that customers have their orders shipped to an address that they trust or have sole access to. In situations where the item has been signed for but the customer has not received the item, it is the customer's responsibility to find the item, not Serge DeNimes. We will NOT replace items that have been lost or stolen upon delivery.

In a situation where the tracking number is showing that the order has been delivered but you have not received the item, please let us know as soon as possible.

If the customer chooses to have their order shipped to a shared address such as a business or university, it is the customers responsibility to ensure the parcel is signed for by the customer. If this is signed for a third party or another name/person at the delivery address, it is up to the customer to investigate. As per our couriers’ policy, we cannot claim for an item that has been signed for at the delivery address.

PRICES

All prices on sergedenimes.com are given in British Pounds Sterling (£). Please note Serge DeNimes have no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.

You must pay by Credit/Debit card or Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. We will inform you if a product’s correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.

AVAILABILITY

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

DELIVERY

UK

Our standard deliveries are sent via Royal Mail 48.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £80 (please select this option at the checkout).

For Next Day Deliveries we use Royal Mail 24 service. Royal Mail AIM to deliver the item within 24 hours of them receiving it. 

Orders are expected to get to you within 3-5 working days of your order being despatched. We aim to despatch all orders within 2-3 days from the order date.

Please note that working days do not include Weekends or Bank Holidays. As we use a signed for service, please choose an address with persons present during the day. 

If the customer chooses to have their order shipped to a shared address such as a business or university, it is the customers responsibility to ensure the parcel is signed for by the customer.

If this is signed for a third party or another name/person at the delivery address, it is up to the customer to investigate. As per our couriers’ policy we cannot claim for an item that has been signed for at the delivery address.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY

Order before 1pm the day before for a 24 hour service. If you order after 1pm, then your order will be dispatched the next working day.

Our 24 hour delivery service is not available on weekends.

Order before 1pm on Friday to receive your order on Monday. If you order after 1pm on Friday, your order will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

EU/REST OF WORLD

Please understand that there may be some delays due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in certain countries and that we are trying our hardest to make sure all orders arrive promptly.

We post all International Deliveries via DHL International Tracked service. It can take up to 48 hours to process and prepare an items for international delivery.

Please note that International orders will take up to 5-10 working days, however items can be held up at customs for an additional 7-14 days.

Please note that DHL can ship express to most EU countries overnight so there may be an additional 1 day added to your package. 

CUSTOMS AND DUTIES

Please note that recipients outside the EU will be responsible for any IMPORT DUTIES, CLEARANCE FEES or BROKERAGE fees including any other additional charges. We operate on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.

Sometimes goods may be subject to delays, due to customs or weather. The customer is responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.

We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

RETURNS

Due to recent events involving the COVID-19 we have extended our returns policy to 60 days for all customers as we understand that many of you may be self isolating and unable to return your packages. 

Please send all items back to us using a tracked service. Any items sent untracked are at risk of being lost and we cannot accept responsibility in these cases.

UK CUSTOMERS

If for any reason you want to send back any products you have purchased, you can do so by downloading the form here.

We offer free UK Returns. A free returns label will be inside your order upon delivery.

Refunds and exchanges accepted on all products, except Earrings.

Products must be in perfect condition when returned.

EXCHANGES

Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 60 days of being received by you. Please advise us upon receipt of your purchase if you wish to exchange. The subsequent exchange item will be returned to you free of charge.

Should you choose to send an item back using a tracked service, this must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

FAULTY ITEMS

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES

Returns of faulty clothing & accessory items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. We at Serge DeNimes take every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.

We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when contacting us at info@sergedenimes.com about the fault. Returns of faulty goods must be returned to us within the time limit of being received by you.

In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to your card or Paypal account to the value of the item at the time of purchase. Please note that refunds onto Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund regulations.

JEWELLERY

If your jewellery item is delivered faulty or becomes faulty within 1 month of your order being placed, we can refund or exchange the item.

Items that become faulty within 3-6 months of being purchased can be exchanged for the same product. If that same product is no longer available, we will offer store credit for another item.

Items that become faulty over 6 months of being purchased cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you have a faulty item, please email us at info@sergedenimes.com with photo’s and details of the fault, along with your order number.

Earrings are non-returnable due to hygiene reasons.

JEWELLERY CARE 

 

COVID-19
In light of current events, everybody is being advised to wash your hands regularly - but this doesn't mean you need to stop looking fly. Over time, Gold Plating will fade if they come in contact with anti-bacterial gel, water and soap regularly. To help your rings out live these unusual times, simply remove them before washing your hands or applying anti-bacterial gel. 

 

Our jewellery is made with care and we want you to look after it so you can get as much use out of it as possible. Avoid wearing it while exercising, as sweat can take off the coatings and also whilst you are sleeping, as we don’t want you choking or breaking it! We also advise you to avoid wearing it in the shower and getting it wet in general. Once you are done wearing your jewellery for the day, place it back in its Serge DeNimes velvet pouch to protect it, ready to wear again the next day.

ADJUSTABLE JEWELLERY

Our adjustable jewellery items are left open, so they can be stretched open to get on, and closed tighter to secure. Please remember that Silver is very soft metal so when doing this be very gentle and do not repeat this too often as the material will wear down.

Please note that if you do not follow these precautions, the jewellery will be affected and we cannot accept returns or exchanges for wear and tear.

STUDENT DISCOUNT

Our 15% off student discount is offered with Student Beans. When you order using student discount, you must enter your unique discount code at the checkout.

Student Beans members receive 15% off purchases with a valid Student Beans membership. Discount is not available on gift cards. We reserve the right to terminate this discount without notice. Discount is only valid for Student Beans members and is non-transferable.

HOW TO USE

Simply search for ‘Serge DeNimes’ on the Student Beans website > click on the image > click on ‘Get Code and Open Site’. Here you’ll be asked to log in to your student account with or create a new one. You will then be presented with a code to carry on your shopping.

Mystery boxes are non-refundable and can only be exchanged for store credit.

This website, these terms and conditions and any contract entered into as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
