What’s the difference between a chain and a pendant necklace?

What length necklace should I buy?
Chain length is listed in cm on every product page. Shorter chains (around 45cm) sit at the collarbone; longer ones (50–60cm) sit mid-chest and layer well over the top of a shorter piece. See our Size Guide for a visual guide.
How do I layer necklaces without them tangling?
Keep lengths at least 3–4cm apart so each piece sits at a different level. A light 1.5mm curb chain paired with a pendant necklace that sits slightly lower is the easiest starting stack.
What’s the difference between your silver and gold necklaces?
Every “silver” necklace is 925 sterling silver. Every “gold” necklace is the same sterling silver base with 14ct gold plating, so both give you the same weight and design - just a different finish. Both are hallmarked.
Does sterling silver tarnish?
Our silver necklaces are rhodium-plated to slow tarnishing, but sterling silver can still dull naturally over time. Store it somewhere dry and wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. Full instructions are in our Care Guide.
