The Silver Molten Ring is a unique ring with a realistic liquid texture creating an illusion jewellery piece. The ring is made from Rhodium Plated 925 Sterling Silver, and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality.
The Surrealism art movement depicted unnerving, illogical scenes, creating a new world through radical ways of thinking. This style of artwork has heavily influenced our Surrealism Collection, with the use of everyday objects transformed into precious metal jewellery.
The Molten Ring design is inspired by the infamous Salvador Dali painting "The Persistence of Memory". The painting depicts clocks melting, suggesting a surrealist view on Albert Einstein's "Theory of Relativity".
This unusual statement ring has a 360 design so it can be worn any way. Each drip has been sculpted into a 3D shape, some layered with smaller drips. The top of the ring has an uneven texture, adding to the realistic detailing of liquid metal cascading over the ring and down your finger. The inside of the ring is smooth for a comfortable fit and is finished in a premium Rhodium Silver plating that won't discolour or age. Rhodium plating is a premium Silver coloured plating that gives the jewellery a polished, reflective finish. As it is part of the platinum metal family, it is harder than gold so provides jewellery with a durable surface which resists tarnish.
The asymmetrical shape of the ring makes it great for wearing alone, or for a contrast of shapes and detailing, wear it with a simple signet ring like the Silver Signet Ring.
Every product comes in a recyclable pouch. Our pouches are made from 100% cotton with cotton drawstrings and are completely plastic free & recyclable.
