Gold Oval Belcher Chain

A timeless classic, the Belcher chain was made famous in Britain in the 18th century. It was named after the Bare Knuckle Boxer Jem Belcher who was Champion of All England from 1800 to 1805. The chain is made from round or oval links which are then interlocked together. This variation is similar to a Trace chain, with faceted diamond cut links for enhanced light reflection. The double chain style was inspired by Tommy Lee, who throughout the 90s, could always be seen wearing a chunky double link chain. The Saints & Sinners collection, is a play on stereotypes and looks at the ironic relationship between good & bad. Heavily influenced by the infamous relationship between Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee, through to beloved nostalgic films such as Grease & Dirty Dancing.

The shorter chain is 46cm while the longer chain is 47.5cm and is fastened with a Sterling Silver lobster clasp. The necklace is finished in a premium 14KT Gold plating that gives a highly reflective surface. 

The Belcher Chain is a great every day piece for its simple look and versatility. As it is already a layered chain, it can be worn alone, or for a heavier style, wear it with a subtle pendant necklace like the Gold Focus Necklace. The Oval Belcher Chain is also available in Silver.

Every product comes in a recyclable pouch. Our pouches are made from 100% cotton with cotton drawstrings and are completely plastic free & recyclable.
