Join us behind the scenes as we get to know film photographer Rosie Matheson. Usually based in LA, we caught her on a recent trip back home in London.

What inspired you to pick up a camera and start shooting?
When I look back, I've always been taking photos, since super young. I was an only child and my parents used to throw loads of parties so picking up a camera was my way of fitting in to those environments.
How do you find the LA creative scene compare to the London?
I feel like in London, creatives don't really work together and its a bit 'gatekeep-y', whereas in LA people are really open and friendly, anything can happen at any time which is really cool. There's more opportunity in LA.
Favourite person that you've shot?
I'd have to say Elliot, back in 2015. The photos that I took that day changed my life & my career.
Dream person to work with?
Who knows if it will ever happen but Frank Ocean. I've been trying to shot him for about 8 years and I'm not going to give up.
