We sit down with artist Jordan Dawson to ask about his craft and how he turns ordinary pieces into hand painted works of art.

Tell us a bit about yourself, who you are and what you do...
I take everyday items and turn it into a unique, 1-of-1 piece of art. I create stories through special products.
What would be your dream collaboration?
Tough question! I'd say Le'bron James - top of his game, one of the GOATs of his sport. I'd love to create a shoe together.
As a fine artist, how did you carve you way into the shoe customising scene?
I worked retail for Nike and they gave us uniform every few months. I had a box fresh pair of trainers so I decided to paint them. I started a portfolio and later took it to HR at Nike and they asked me to design a campaign for AF1. Customers would come into store and I customised their shoes. From there it snowballed and I was reached out to by the likes of Adidas, Puma, Converse and Ellesse.
Who was the first celebrity that you worked with?
Declan Rice - I did some shoes for him which he shared on his social media
