Who is your dream brand to work with?
I would love to work with Dior in time, whether it be through modelling or creative direction. They are definitely my dream house. Also more contemporary streetwear brands like Advisory Board Crystals or Brainchild would be amazing too.
We heard you have your own brand! What are your goals with that?
I do have my own brand! I manage an independent brand called [.ULTRA] through which I create bespoke, custom and upcycled pieces. In the past, I have focused mainly on curating and customising pieces I had picked up whilst travelling through different countries, but my newest collection will actually be a full range of sweatshirts available in multiple sizes and colourways. I put my soul into what I create so I try to never rush projects. There is a perfect time for everything.
I want to grow my brand into a collection or collaborative space that allow important themes to be communicated on a scale and with a quality of execution that genuinely impacts personal and public ideas of self-expression, emotional stability and conscious action.
Describe yourself in three words?
Slow. Fast. Deep.
Where is your favourite place in London?
My favourite place in London is central. I moved from a seaside town so the pace of the city is mainly what drew me here. Central has a high energy atmosphere but that's also balanced really well by the trendiness of the Soho/ Shoreditch areas.
We love your style! What is a piece of clothing you couldn't live without?
Thank you, I appreciate it! My wardrobe would not be the same without my various pieces of beige/off white clothing. I think I try and factor that colour into most outfits I wear these days. Or Uniqlo socks.
Favourite restaurant in London?
My favourite restaurant in London by far is Maki Mayo in Seven sisters. They sell most major Asian Cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.) and I've honestly never eaten anywhere like it.
Where do you draw inspiration from when designing?
I feel most creatives draw inspiration from the same three sources: within, the world/people around them and how to interact with each other. That is definitely the case for myself at least.
What is your life motto?
My life motto is ''Substance vs Status''. It is my theology towards life in general, the decision bias in a lot of choices I make and also the slogan/theme of my brand.
What do you do to relax?
I'm a massive fan of anime and console gaming, so I can always spend my downtime on one of the two.
What is your favourite piece from the Serge collection?
My favourite piece from the Serge collection would be the Link Bangle or one of the Sterling pieces in general. I normally wear gold but the quality of the sterling pieces at Serge DeNimes makes me want to try something different!
