What do feel are the advantages and disadvantage of being an ethnic model in the fashion industry?
Advantage would be that we bring a different look because of our ethnic backgrounds. So when designers need that ‘traditional african look’ ethnic models will be preferred.
I would say the disadvantages is that there are more demand for caucasian models, therefore not allowing many doors for ethnic models.
If you weren’t a model what would you be doing instead?
I would most definitely be a DJ as that was my main focus before modelling and still do a bit now when I have the time.
What advice would you give an aspiring model trying to catch a break?
I would say study the industry, whatever you do make sure you do it with all you’ve got because you never know who’s watching.
What do you enjoy most – runway or photo shoots?
Tough one but I would say photo shoots.
3 tips for taking an amazing selfie?
Good angle, lighting and don’t hold the camera to close.

Have you got any exciting projects coming up?
I’m going to be modelling next year in London for a Fashion & Charity ball to raise awareness for unprivileged children with rare diseases and the likes of Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-whitely, and Chris brown will be attending.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Successful in the modelling industry, modelling for world class brands.
