The Dragon is an Icon that stands out in Eastern Asian Culture which represents Power, Strength & Good Luck - (And it's the awesome mythical creature that took down Kings Landing). In English culture is it the iconic symbol worn by King Alfred the Great while he was defeating the Viking army. In British culture, it is on the Welsh flag as the 'Red Dragon which was used when the Romans withdrew from Britain.
The Necklace itself is manufactured of the highest quality Sterling Silver that is Hallmarked by the Assay Office with our own unique Hallmark. This can be identified globally by any trusted jewellers and the registration mark can be traced online. The Necklace comes with a Silver Lobster Clasp that secures the necklace and can be open/closed with ease.
The Necklace comes as 1 and there are no loose pendants. The main design features a unique Dragon design that was drawn from mythical creatures and existing designs. The design is symmetrical and focuses on the drop of the necklace. This features 2 dragon heads with their teeth locked around a hoop. This is thought to symbolise the guarding of the realm. We like to think they are having a wee tug of war. The Necklace consists of a 5mm curb chain with a heavy oxidised effect. The Dragon Necklace has a length of 47CM with 6 hoops that will increase the length to up to 50CM by 0.5CM increments.
This product weights on average 40g and is entirely Sterling Silver. There is a heavy oxidisation on the outer layer of the silver which has been done through an intricate and rigorous process using a unique acid as the reducing agent. The oxidised layer is thin, so if it is cleaned in the incorrect way then it may tarnish. The product is designed to last for a number of years if looked after properly.
