Silver Artemis Ring

The Silver Artemis Ring is a band ring with intricate detailing bordering the top and bottom edges with a cubic zirconia gem at the centre. The ring is made from 925 Sterling Silver and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality.

The Artemis Ring is inspired by the Ancient Seven Wonder, the Temple of Artemis. The Greek temple was dedicated to Artemis, goddess of the hunt, the wilderness and nature. The design is directly derived from reconstructions of the temple, looking at the detailing on the pillars surrounding the temple. The Ancient Greeks used 3 main styles of architecture, with Ionic being the most popular. The Ionic style is characterised by the use of volutes, the spiral, scroll-like ornaments found at the top of pillars. Within the scroll-like design is a border design is known as 'egg-and-dart', an ornamental device used in architecture on mouldings.

The ring uses the 'egg-and-dart' pattern as an engraved border to the top and bottom edges of the band. The main body of the ring is smooth and polished with a small cubic zirconia stone which sits in a classic star setting. The inside of the ring is smooth for a comfortable fit. The ring is finished with an oxidised technique to highlight the details.

The Silver Artemis Ring is available in 6 sizes so can be worn on your choice of finger. The band style makes it ideal for wearing on any finger and the detailing draws the eye to the reflective stone. It can be worn alone for a statement piece, or layer with Silver Frieze Ring for a more detailed look.

Every product comes in a recyclable pouch. Our pouches are made from 100% cotton with cotton drawstrings and are completely plastic free & recyclable. Silver products (excluding Rhodium plated styles) naturally age over time, so they also come with a cleaning cloth, which can be used to polish your product.
