Gold Plated Silver Black Enamel Cross Ring is a gold plated ring that is a ring variant of our best selling Enamel Cross Necklace. This ring features a gold cross on the face of the ring surrounded by black pearl enamel.
The Cross is one of our 4 symbols and it tattooed on our Creative Director, Oliver Proudlock. The Symbol is an iconic part of OP's upbringing as he had fond memories of attending church every Sunday. The Cross has since been used in our designs - Right back to our first AW16 Jewellery Collection and on Apparel since 2011. The Cross has a representation of the structure on which Jesus was crucified; used as an emblem of Christianity or in heraldry. It is believed to be an icon for love for lost sinners and justice.
The Ring itself is manufactured of the highest quality Sterling Silver that is Hallmarked by the Assay Office with our own unique Hallmark. This can be identified globally by any trusted jewellers and the registration mark can be traced online. The Ring is an oval design that consists of black enamel with a raised Gold Cross that gives the effect of it 'floating' on black water. The pearlised enamel has lighter and darker shades and each enamel finish is unique - No products 2 will ever be the same design. Around the rim of the pendant, there is a slightly raised edge around the outside to protect the enamel.
This product weights on average 11g. The Ring face measure 2cm in height and 1.5cm in width with a 0.4cm depth. Gold Plated Jewellery should be built to last for up to 3 years, but various factors and lifestyle choices can speed up or slow down the plating quality and integrity.
