The Gold Jet Necklace is a slim, 2mm rope chain with a Black gemstone pendant. The necklace is made from 925 Sterling Silver, plated in 14KT Gold, and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office verifying its quality.
The gemstone on the pendant is Black Onyx, a stone used commonly amongst the Romans. In the Roman period, the black gemstone, Jet was used as a magical material, often used in amulets and pendants because of its protective qualities and ability to deflect the gaze of the evil eye.
The simplicity of this necklace makes it perfect for wearing at any time, with any outfit. Pair it with the Gold Jet Ring for a matching set. The chain is not adjustable and has the single length of 60cm, making it great to layer with shorter neck chains.
